Av.: IM C M F R IOTAPIANVS AV, Büste mit Strahlenkrone und Kürass n.r. Rv.: VICT-OR-IA AVG, Victoria mit Kranz und Palmzweig n.l. RIC IV - (cf. 2var mit anderer Av.-Legende), RSC IV - (cf. 1a-2var mit anderer Av.-Legende). Vgl. Künker 288 (2017), 800 (Zuschlag 9500 EUR). Raue Oberflächen, stellenweise leichte Auflagen.

Im Jahre 249 n. Chr. revoltierte M. F. Ru. Iotapianus gegen die Steuerpolitik des Rector Orientis Priscus und wurde in Syrien oder Kappadokien zum Kaiser erhoben. Die Rebellion kam relativ schnell zum Erliegen und Iotapianus wurde von seinen eigenen Soldaten im September/Oktober (?) 249 n. Chr. ermordet.
