POLEN - Danzig - Sigismund III. 1587-1632 - Ort 1608 Danzig Beim Ort 1608 handelt es sich um eine geheimnisvolle Prägung der Danziger Münzstätte. Diese extreme Seltenheit, die nur in wenigen Exemplare bekannt ist, wurde bis heute noch nicht wirklich recherchiert Das Charakteristikum dieser ersten Emission aus dem Jahr 1608 ist die Hammerprägung, da alle späteren Emissionen Walzenprägungen sind. Das von uns angebotene Exemplar ist im neuen Buch von Parchimowicz / Wiącek / Brzeziński "Katalog Ortów Gdańskich" abgebildet und ist eines von 3 bekannten Exemplaren, davon befinden sich 2 im Privatbesitz. Eine besondere Münze von großer historischer Bedeutung. Ort 1608 roku to jedna z najbardziej tajemniczych emisji mennicy gdańskiej. Ten unikatowy numizmat, znany w zaledwie paru egzemplarzach, nie został dotychczas właściwie zbadany. Wstępna emisja z roku 1608 jest charakterystyczna. Wybito ją stemplami a nie tłoczono na walcarce jak kolejne roczniki. Proponowany egzemplarz publikowano w nowej książce Parchimowicz / Wiącek / Brzeziński "Katalog Ortów Gdańskich", i jest jednym z 3 znanych egzemplarzy, tylko 2 z nich są własnością prywatną.
