Admont - Silbergussmedaille (31,8g), (43mm) o.J. (1605?) von Pietro de Pomis (um 1569-1633). Auf den 47. Abt des Benediktinerstiftes, Johann Hoffmann (1552-1614). Av.: IOANNES HOFFMAN D G ABB ADMONTESIS, Büste im Ordenskleid. Rv.: IESA SEMPER REGNAT, die personifizierte Kirche thront am Felsen Petri, sie hält einen Kelch mit Hostie, darunter Hahn; in der Linken eine Glocke. Originalguss mit später aufgesetztem Henkel; Av. vergoldet R. Abt Johann Hofmann stammte aus ärmlichen Verhältnissen, aber er brachte es zu einem hohen kirchlichen Ansehen. Er war nicht nur Abt in Admont, sondern auch Administrator des Klosters St. Lambrecht; er war ein aktiver Akteur der Gegenreformation und ab 1599 erster Reformationskommisar.
